Maria L. Pretzer
Maria graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1996, and she obtained her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 2000. She was a Staff Editor of the William Mitchell Law Review. From 2000-2002, Maria clerked for the Honorable Marilyn Brown Rosenbaum in Hennepin County District Court. She then worked as a Staff Attorney at the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings until 2011. Maria also worked as a Program Consultant for the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Maria moved to Park Rapids in 2012, and worked as a Associate Attorney at Peloquin Law Office until 2017.
Maria serves on the Board of Directors of Kinship of the Park Rapids Area. She also serves on the Park Rapids Area Library Board and is a member of the Friends of the Library. Maria served as Club President of the Park Rapids Rotary Club from 2016-2017.
Maria was honored to be chosen to participate in the Blandin Leadership Program in March 2017 for the Park Rapids area.
She and her husband, Bobby, live in Park Rapids with their two dogs.
